Student Leadership Retreat at Beaufort

Team building is an integral component to the leadership retreat

This leadership retreat provides students with the necessary tools to improve their leadership skills and/or to build successful organizations. Retreat objectives for attendees:
  • To increase understanding of personal values, strengths, and areas of improvement
  • To experience the value of community, relationships, and reflection as important components to leadership
  • To learn more about leadership as it applies directly to Duke organizations
  • To foster communication and interaction between members of the Duke community

When is it? Every August, shortly before the start of classes

Where is it? Beaufort Marine Lab, Beaufort, North Carolina

How much does it cost? All expenses are covered, and transportation is provided!

Who can apply? Any member of the rising sophomore class

How do I apply? Applications will be made available in the spring. Visit the Leading at Duke website throughout the year for information on how you can get involved in leadership learning!
